Live Long and Strong in God's Kingdom

It's God's Perfect Will for His People

The last few months I've had the opportunity to step into the ministry like I never have before. It's been an eye-opener to see the needs that are being supernaturally being met by God. During this time I am also learning first hand about the kingdom of God. I've read quite a bit about it, but now I'm actually experiencing it.

I want to share with you some the benefits that I've discovered are available to us as believers. The first thing I've discovered is that our salvation comes with benefits other than spending eternity with God. There are benefits we can enjoys right now, right here on earth.

"For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.." Col 1:13 NIV

The concept of kingdoms is foreign to Americans so passages like this may sometimes roll off our lips without much thought given to it. But that would be a mistake. A mistake I don't want you to make.

Imagine growing up in a third world country where there is lack all around you. Lack of hope, lack of prosperity, lack of opportunity and lack of freedom. Then one day you escape to a country called America. The person who brought you over tells you that are many benefits available to American citizens. But to avail yourself to all these benefits you need to learn how to become a citizen by attending classes. During these sessions you learn about the history of America and about it's laws and statutes as well as it's custom.

After completing all your classes the day arrives for you to take your exam and get sworn in as a brand new citizen. This is a day you've been looking forward to. You're excited about starting your new life as an American citizen.

Would it make sense in this scenario for you to get sworn in only to continue living your life just the same as you did prior to receiving your citizenship? Or course not. That's why I want to start writing to you about your citizenship in the kingdom of God.

For starters, it is God's will that every believer (citizen) live a good life full of health and strength (Rom 10:17).

I won't lay too much on you today. But here are some truths I want you to investigate and study for yourself. Don't just take my word for it.

* You can live in divine health

* When sickness tries to come, stand against it with the name of Jesus.

* God's will for the life span of His people is 120 years (Genesis 6:3)

* Put God's word in your eyes and ears and let it come out of your mouth in faith.

* Change the way you think with God's Word. "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he (Prov 23:7)

* A relaxed attitude lengthens a man's life (Prov 14:30)

I'm telling you, the more you explore God's word the more you'll get filled up in your spirit and you're mind will also become renewed to the things of God. I started out with your benefit of a healthy life because most people are being afflicted or have a loved one who is suffering physical affliction in some form. If you have not experienced complete healing with conventional methods then go with the word of God.

Here are some scripture passages to meditate on and speak out loud each day over your situation:

Psalm 90:9 Prov 17:22 Numbers 26:65, 14:26-35 Genesis 47:9 Deuteronomy 34:7 Joshua 24:29 Isaiah 65:20 2 Corinthians 5:7 Mark 11:25 John 15:12 Phillipians 4:6-7 Deuteronomy 28:12-13

As you read these passages seal them in your heart and mind by making it personal. Say this out loud each time you end your reading time;

"Father, in Jesus name, I speak to sickness, disease, any deformities and any situations that need to be healed and fixed. I command them to be healed now! In the name of Jesus I take my healing now! Remember, "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world".

God Bless You,

Luis Castillo
