american government Constitution not understood by u.s. students

we the people

If you examine the American Government Constitution you'll notice that it begins with "we the people..." whereas the constitution of the Kingdom of God begins with "God says..." or "Your Lord God says..."

The American Government Constitution clearly defines how the power of governing is distributed within the governing body. In a republic or democracy like that of the United States the power lies with the people. They proceed with electing individuals to represent them and to enforce policies that will benefit them.

The American Government Constitution was constructed with a great deal of thought and debate. It has been documented that on many occasions some of the delegates nearly walked out of the convention believing that such a critical document could not accurately and fairly reflect the desires and concerns of all the residents of each state.

The final product has served as a beacon of hope to many nations since its inception. The American Government Constitution has no rival when it comes to any man made document. Many countries still study it with cautious amazement and respect considering it was constructed by imperfect men.

As you examine the American Government Constitution you can't help but wonder if the Holy Spirit inspired these men to emulate the constitution God had drawn up for the very first man without their even knowing.

The three main documents of our founding fathers: the Declaration of Independence, the American Government Constitution, and Bill of Rights, were based on God's laws in the Torah, portions of Isaiah, and principles in the four Gospels.

The primary distinction between these two types is that the American Government Constitution finds its beginning with the aspirations of the people while the King's (God's) constitution is initiated by the King and and contains the aspirations and desires of the King for the citizens of his kingdom.

In a kingdom, all power lies with the king. As a result it's the king who establishes the constitution for his kingdom. In this instance, the constitution will convey the deep desires of the king for his kingdom.

As a result it is always best for the people of any country, if they live in a kingdom with a kind and benevolent king, to have their king be the author of their constitution. A righteous and benevolent king (such as God) loves his people and looks out for their welfare.

Now that we've clarified the difference between a republic's constitution, like the American Government Constitution, and a king's constitution let's take a closer look at the kingdom of God constitution and compare it with the American Government Constitution, the most prized document of the most powerful democracy in the world.

The first thing you'll need to understand is that a constitution is actually a "contract" which a king has with his subjects. In the case of God's kingdom, it is a contract between himself and his "citizens" since there are no "subjects" in God's kingdom. Let's not forget that in a kingdom the contract originates  with the king and in a democracy such as the United States it originates with the people.

When the king of England set out to colonize the new world there was no intent to change the order of business. As far as the king was concerned it was business as usual. However, in a relatively short time the subjects determined that the king's plans for the colonies were not to their liking and they set out to establish their own government.

Were the authors of the American Government Constitution influenced by the bible?

When God determined, before time began, that he would establish a kingdom colony on earth he had already established the conditions and laws for this colony well in advance. If you read Genesis you'll find that everything was already in place by the time Adam arrived:

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, in Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground" (Genesis 1:26-28)

Over the years I've read this passage a number of times but it never came across to me as God communicating his contract between himself and mankind. Read it again, I believe you'll agree that creating this contract was a completely unilateral process on God's part and that Adam played no part in it. When Adam does show up on the scene he simply receives the contract drawn up by the King of Heaven.

The first thing I notice about this "contract" designed by the King of Heaven is that he designed it with our benefit in mind. Our position in this contract is one of rulers not helpless paupers. How awesome is that? The king of the universe delegating his authority to us. No doubt this demonstrates he really is a benevolent king.

Once again, in a  true kingdom, the people have no say, instead, the king tells them what he wants to happen. That's something we living in a republic are not used to. In the following passage God assures us of his intentions:

For I know the plans that I have for you...plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart I will be found by you...(Jeremiah 29:)

Wow, how does it stand up to the American Government Constitution ? It's safe to say that if any U.S. President or Presidential candidate made this part of his campaign message he might be labeled a religious kook or a self-proclaimed messiah and be looked upon with great suspicion.

In any case, my intent with setting up this section was to allow us to further examine the elements of the American Government Constitution and in doing so better understand how the kingdom of God is a much better governing system to live under.
